Privileges include:

• Fly a Canadian registered single engine land aircraft with visual reference to a layer of cloud rather than the earth

Prerequisites Include:

• Must hold a Private Pilot License

• Category 1 or 3 medical

Course Requirements:

• 15 hours instrument flight time (can include previous instrument flight time)

  • Up to 5 hours can be completed on a certified simulator​

• No flight test or written test is required

Duration:

• Training is done at the student’s own pace
