Multi Engine Rating

Have twice the fun! Multi Engine training can be completed in 1-2 weeks for full time students.

Privileges: 

  • Fly a Canadian registered multi engine aircraft in VFR conditions.

Prerequisites: 

  • Must hold a minimum of a PPL to register, 150 hours of total flight time preferred

  • Category 1 or 3 medical

​

License Requirements:

  • No transport Canada written test

  • No minimum hours required, training is typically completed in about 10 hours

  • The followings is a suggested training protocol

    • 9 hours dual instruction​

    • 1 hour solo practice

    • 3 hours ground instruction​​

  • Successfully complete the multi engine flight test
