Training Requirements
Flight Hours:

A minimum of 30 hours of dual flight training including

5 hours instrument training, can be done in a flight simulator

Minimum 25 hours of ground school

Skill Requirement:

Must pass the Transport Canada AIRAF Exam

Must pass the Transport Canada Instructor Rating Exam

Prerequisites
Entrance Requirements

Canadian Commercial Pilot Licence or having completed CPL flight test to join Ground school classes
Medical Certificate​

Category 1 Canadian Aviation Medical certificate
Language Proficiency​

Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English;

Aviation Language Proficiency Demonstration score of 6 required
