Brandon Flight Centre operates primarily as a professional flight school. We also serve the aviation industry by providing a full-service FBO and AMO to all air traffic to Brandon Municipal Airport. Owned by the Brandon Flying Club, we maintain a friendly atmosphere that remains true to our long history of leaders in the Manitoba Aviation community.Â

Duties & Responsibilities:Â
·       Supervise the flight and ground instruction team, including providing continuous professional development and fostering a culture of continuous growth and professionalism.Â
·       Maintain and implement an operational control system, including amendments to the Flight Training Operations Manual as required to ensure exceptional safety standards and consistency in instruction and evaluation.Â
·       Effectively manage the continuous development of your students as assigned.Â
·       Stay informed about regulatory and procedural changes in the flight training environment.
·       Disseminate airplane safety information, including accident, incident, and other safety occurrence reports to proactively manage flight safety. Â
·       Maintain and update the syllabi and curriculum in accordance with Transport Canada flight instructor guide and training manuals for all programs provided by Brandon Flight CentreÂ
·       Liaise with Transport Canada, other regulatory bodies, and community organizations as required.Â
·       Ensure all FTU documentation including all training records are in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.Â
·       Oversee regular audits to proactively identify and rectify any areas of non-compliance.Â

Candidate Requirements:Â
·       Must be eligible to work in Canada.Â
·       Must hold a valid Class 1 or 2 Flight Instructor rating.Â
·       Must hold a valid class 5 driver’s license.Â
·       English proficiency (ICAO 6).Â
·       Must be willing to relocate to Brandon, MB or reliably commute.Â
CompensationÂ
·       Salary:  $90,000-100,000
·       Bonus Structure based on total billed flight instructor hours monthly.Â
