Train to operate aircraft with more than one engine, a key step for advanced training and professional flying. Learn engine-out procedures, asymmetric handling, and performance management.
Privileges:

Fly a Canadian registered multi engine aircraft in VFR conditions.

Prerequisites:

Must hold a minimum of a PPL to register, 150 hours of total flight time preferred

Category 1 or 3 medical

License Requirements:

No transport Canada written test
-
No minimum hours required, training is typically completed in about 10 hours

The following is a suggested training protocol

9 hours dual instruction​

1 hour solo practice
-
3 hours ground instruction​​

Successfully complete the multi engine flight test
